Growing children rarely fit perfectly into a single universal size chart. Please check each product listing: age recommendations, letter sizes and regional shoe sizes may vary by maker.
MEASURING CLOTHING
Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest. Waist: measure the natural waist without tightening the tape. Hips: measure around the fullest part. Height: measure barefoot while standing straight. Sleeve: measure from shoulder to wrist. Inseam: measure from crotch to the desired trouser hem.
MEASURING SHOES
Have the child stand on paper with weight evenly distributed. Mark heel and longest toe, measure both feet in centimeters and use the larger measurement. Compare with the product-specific chart, allowing the comfort room recommended for that style.
CHECK THE CUT
A relaxed sweatshirt, tailored shirt and stretch leggings can all fit differently even when marked the same size. Review fabric stretch, garment length and fit notes. For children between sizes, compare actual dimensions rather than automatically sizing up.
FABRICS AND CARE
Follow the garment label first. Wash delicate items with similar colors, use suitable detergent, and avoid excessive heat where the label warns against it. Air-dry sensitive materials when recommended. Spot-test cleaning products on footwear and bags.
CHILD SAFETY
Check clothing and accessories for loose parts, drawstrings, detachable decorations and age-specific warnings. Small accessories may pose choking risks for young children. Always follow manufacturer safety guidance and supervise use where appropriate.
